Ametryn 500 SC is a systemic selective herbicide used to control annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds in various crops like sugarcane, maize, coffee, orchards, etc. It contains 500 grams of ametryn per liter of solution and is applied by spraying directly on the foliage of target weeds. The active ingredient in Ametryn 500 SC inhibits the photosynthesis process in plants, causing them to become discolored and eventually die. This formulation can be prepared by the use of Dispersant SP-SC99.

Description

SP-SC99 is a polymeric anionic-nonionic surfactant with structure similiar to "Gemini". The thickness of electrical double layer (EDL) surrounding particles treated can be increased with the assistance of colloid grinder and high-speed shearing. The product can be used in formulations such as SC, SE, FS, CS, EW, ME, WP and DF, alone or in combination with our SP-SC11. This product is highly suitable for triazoles, sulfonylureas and pesticides of plant origin that are easy to cream when formulated with traditional phosphate dispersants.

 

Application

Features not only ability of dispersity but also emulsification. Generally paired with SP-SC11, be applied in most mid-high loading SC, FS or those can not be easily formulated by ordinary dispersant of phosphate ester.
